The dictionary defines synergy as the combined or cooperative force, specifically in medicine. Cindy Brody defines CinergE as a unique combination of alternative body work treatments that encourage the body’s own healing power. CinergE incorporates an array of complementary therapies such as energy balancing, muscle testing, Reiki, acupressure, intuition and animal communication to help relieve a living being’s physical and mental stress, muscle tightness, and joint inflammation. Used together, these techniques unlock tension, promote healing, and boost the immune system.

Cindy also helps people through their animal’s wishes, when it is time to say goodbye. Through your animal’s words of wisdom, Cindy and you can help them go to the rainbow bridge with love and grace.

Private Office Visits
Cindy welcomes people with their dogs from all over the Hudson Valley and beyond in her Woodstock, NY office.
When visiting please bring your dog into the “dog house” on a leash, even if your dog is well-trained. If your dog has a biting issue please let Cindy know. She will review your dog’s history and find the best way to help them. Cindy is happy to help you, but nobody wants a frightened dog to hurt anyone.

Long Distance Communication Appointments
All long-distance appointments can be prepaid before your appointment through Venmo or PayPal or you can send a check ten days before your appointment.
All Cindy needs to talk with your pet are recent photographs where she can clearly see their eyes. Please email up to 3 pictures of each animal. For homes with multiple animals, please note that Cindy works with no more than 2 animals per ½ hour-long session or 4 per hour. This ensures everyone gets enough time to speak.

Home Visits
Home visits are available upon request for an additional fee, but most visits are located in Cindy’s office. These visits start at 10:00am with the last appointment no later than 5:30pm. Home Visits range in prices:

A Note from Cindy:
I’m so excited to share the building blocks of CinergE that I have been developing over the last 30 years to share with you. I always say together we heal with love and I know that it is true. I have spent a lifetime loving animals and helping them to communicate and heal. I’m so excited to share these skills with you!
CinergE’s building blocks include Animal Communication, Reiki, Energy Balancing, Muscle testing, intuition and lots of love. My classes are hands-on and easy to learn. So many people are ready to trust their intuition and change their lives. I’m so happy to teach you in a loving environment.
My classes are all small, with generally no more than 8 people. I love small intimate classes where we’re all able to learn from each other’s learning styles. I have been teaching energy balancing and animal communication for many years, by including Reiki into my Animal Communication classes, my students are empowered to quickly tap into their intuition. I teach the way I learned. I discovered the energy in my hands when I was 9. My intuition was fed on this treasure I discovered. I have been helping others to heal my whole life.
Even if you’ve studied Reiki before this class with another teacher, this class is for you. Each teacher brings their own style of teaching to the class. I have treated thousands and thousands of animals and people over the last 30 years. I have worked with people and animals in all stages of life.
I recommend starting with Reiki 1 and Animal Communication, this basic energy/communication class is life changing. You will be able to connect on a deeper level with all animals and help them to feel better when medicine isn’t enough.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient form of energy healing. It involves the sharing of universal life-force energy through your hands. I teach the three levels of Reiki to help my students to be able to help others to heal with a light touch therapy.
Each level of Reiki is shared through an attunement that I pass on to you. Each level helps us to be better channels for healing energy, while helping us to open our intuition, each level/attunement is taught in a different class. One class prepares you for the next level.
There are many stories of the origin of Reiki, but it is accepted that it is an ancient healing system that uses healing symbols that are thought to have originated from Tibet, China and some have even speculated India. There are volumes of information on Reiki available on the internet. What used to be a guarded secret is now shared so we can all help ourselves, our families, our fur families and the earth.
An added benefit is that Reiki also helps you to open up your intuition, helping you to develop your animal communication skills. The possibilities are endless.

Reiki 1
Animal Communication Developing Intuition
November 11 & 12, 2025

Cindy has added Reiki 1 to her Developing Intuition and Animal Communication Class. Being attuned to Reiki 1 helps you open up your intuition and open your chakras to receive more energy into your hands. “I have found over the years that combining these 2 modalities helps students learn to communicate more easily.”
You will receive a Reiki 1 attunement. If you already have a Reiki attunement, you will benefit from a second attunement. All Reiki Masters teach a little differently; learning and practicing with different teachers helps to build your Reiki healing experience. As a seasoned Reiki Master Cindy has been attuned several times by different masters. This class is a hybrid, Cindy brings in a lifetime of hands-on experience, to share with her students.

Master Class

This 3rd level Reiki Master Class will increase your ability to channel Reiki healing energy. In this hands-on class you’ll learn how to pass Reiki attunements to others. You’ll be able to share this enhanced energy with yourself, your animals, your friends, families and to our Mother Earth.
Reiki’s healing energy is life transforming. I’ve had students change their career path, so that they could help others by devoting their lives to energy work. Whether you use your Reiki for yourself or with your family or intend to start a Reiki practice, this class will build your skills.

Muscle Testing
and Dowsing with Pendulum
December 6, 2025

This class teaches the basics of Muscle Testing and Dousing with the use of a Pendulum and can be very useful in helping with imbalances in the body and is a great addition to your healing practices.
During a muscle test, a practitioner applies force to a muscle while the patient resists. The muscle's response is then evaluated as "strong" or "weak". A smooth response is generally considered a "strong" muscle, while an inappropriate response is considered a "weak" muscle. Muscle testing aka Kinesiology, is easy to learn and can be used in many ways to access you or another’s own natural biofeedback system and to identify stressors and energetic blockages in the body that can be causing pain or illness. You can easily learn this simple skill for self-testing and helping others.
Dowsing is a technique used to locate hidden objects, substances, or energies. It's often associated with finding water, minerals, or lost items. In a spiritual context, dowsing is used to seek answers from the universe, your higher self, or spiritual guides.
One of the most commonly used tools for dowsing is a pendulum. The pendulum is a very simple tool and one that lets the user tune in to their intuitive powers. The pendulum acts as a receiver and transmitter of information, and moves in different ways in response to questions.
We go over several different methods and these tests can be used on your own body and are a great addition with Reiki to healing! You can use muscle testing and dowsing for yes or no questions or to help find answers to many questions. I use it every single day. It is a foundational component of my work.
This is a one day workshop, where we will be practicing these methods on each other while also practicing Reiki. One modality supports the other!

Cancellation Policy
Class deposits, class payments and gift certificates are non-refundable. All balances must be paid off a week before the class, unless you have made other arrangements with Cindy.
If you are unable to attend a class, you may apply your deposit/payments towards a private session or retain the deposit/payment for a future class.
Deposits, class payments and gift certificates will remain valid for six months from the date of purchase. Please allow at least 7 days’ notice if you are unable to attend a class so we may plan accordingly. If you don’t attend a class you have signed up for, and have not notified Cindy via phone or email, you will forfeit your payment.
Please Note that Cindy’s private session rates may increase, and you are responsible for any balance after your credit has been applied.
